Reporting
Lets us review some of the common reporting scenarios anyone might find themselves in and how to approach them.
Q1. I want to run the GDS/Report Sync job, but I don't see the Thrivestack job. How can I run this job?
In our newer version of Thrivestack (V2), we have a job sharing feature. So check the config sheet of your client. In the pipeline tab, on the bottom left-hand side, we have a list of jobs and under whose account they are.
So, you have two options here:
- You can message that person and ask them to share a job(s) with you, and then you can run the jobs from your Thrivestack. Check the Shared Jobs tab at the top of Thrivestack under the Jobs section.

Q2. I added new custom categories and goal mappings; what should I do next? Or ran the GDS/Report Sync job, but I'm not in the reports!
Check if you ran the Report/GDS job after writing or adding new goal mappings and/or custom categories. Check Q1 if you don't have access to the job.
If you ran the Report/GDS job and it was finished successfully, go and refresh the fields in the report to check if the Report/GDS job failed. In that case, you might have left or added an extra single quote (') or double quote (") in the formula.

Q3. I'm not seeing yesterday's spend for the XYZ platform; what should I do?
First things first, check your config sheet, pipeline overview tab > Refresh Date Check (middle section with dates). It has a list of all the data source/platforms and the latest date of the data in the GDS reports.
If it has yesterday's date on the platform that you're looking for, check your Google Sheets and refresh all the tabs.
